@@CrusoeDesignCo Thanks for your reply. I figure out why perhaps. Because I was watching a RUclips tutorial and I kept going back and forth, I may have accidently unselected the font. Or unselected the layer in appearance so I was not seeing the change. When I switched to an older version of illustrator. It worked fast when I did it. And when I went back to the file; it worked somehow. Then I made sure to have font selected and appearance layer selected; it worked. I was working with lots of layers. Thank you for your fast reply. Yeah that can be tricky. I play too, but haven’t tried to record like you’re saying. I’ve seen plenty of videos where people do it though. They likely use multiple mic’s and maybe a boom mic over head to record your voice. Likely the cheapest way would be plug your guitar into your computer and do all the audio internally. Jam track etc. Then use a mic just for your voice. But yeah, I’d do some research on this specifically as I know there are a ton of great RUclips channels for guitar lessons and bass etc. So there must be some great and specific info on this that other channels have figured out and shared.

Place any laser level (buy what construction crews use instead of really cheap ones) on the side of the cutter and you should be able to line it up with the cut line almost by eye. I think ryobi would be a pretty cheap option but i don't know brands

It’s been a couple years since I made this video and from what I can tell, Adobe still has not implemented this larger canvas size well. When saving as a pdf with any older generation it still shrinks the art to 10% without really telling you I believe. I haven’t checked out tried modifying a new document again. I’ll try and remember to check tonight.

This works for multiple file types. Are the jpegs and pngs within a pdf or Ai file?

A normal printed can definitely print business cards if it can handle nice thick paper.

No it works for phone cameras too. I tried plugging my iPhone into it via USBC to HDMI and it worked. But I was having some issues getting it to show as the full landscape rather than portrait.

Truthfully I’d still likely get a nice camera if you want to do it as a professional service. Beyond that, I’m not up to date with phones other than the iPhone personally.

Sorry I didn’t see this before. I agree. I do think when you see them back to back, the camera is superior. But the iPhone is solid without the comparison.

@@CrusoeDesignCo sure, it does look like the iPhone set-up is really good to start vlogging. If we just forget the comparisons, I think it works better than I expected. Many thanks. Can you easily reattach the clip holder? I know it's a silly question, but I'm that good with fiddly things. Or do you use a different clip binder?

@@rose_yts Yeah the little handle of the clip can be re-attached to take it off etc. So you can re-use the same one over and over.

@@CrusoeDesignCo Thank you for replying. I guess I would still have to use a phone tripod, right? I like the idea of those with a light ring. I found some that are budget-friendly. I know some come with a microphone but according to some reviews, the mike does not work with all smartphones. I hope your hack with the ordinary microphone works with the tripod.

A tripod is a worth while investment for sure. I haven't used a ring light, but they will work! Generally speaking, a cheap microphone isn't great unfortunately.@@rose_yts
